Who are we?

Gardanto is a growing, engineering focused company based in Sydney, Australia. We create innovative technical infrastructure and market it globally to progressive organisations, who recognise the competitive advantage that can be gained through the appropriate use of technology.

What do we do?

It is recognised that organisations whose core business is not technology, struggle at times to manage the increasing complexity of their technical infrastructure. This comes at a time when larger competitors are leveraging technology to increase revenues and lower costs. Often organisations look to outsource their technology, but have difficulty finding the correct partners, at the right service levels, for the right price.

This is particularly evident in the small to medium business sector where there are very few organisations able to provide more sophisticated services on attractive terms. This results in a reduced ability for small to medium organisations to use technology to compete with their larger, more technology saavy competitors.

Gardanto identifies technology which larger organisations use to attain a competitive advantage. We then use smart engineering to reduce the the costs which make it prohibitive for a small to medium business to implement that technology. Generally this involves repackaging the technology to be sold as a service, rather than a product.

By selling software as a service (SaaS) Gardanto removes the upfront cost and reduces the risk associated with implementing a new technology. SaaS also allows us to provide outstanding customer support and a usage based pricing model, better suited to the small to medium business sector.

Nedu, our two factor, zero footprint, strong authentication service is an excellent example of this methodology. Strong authentication is used by larger organisations to reduce their risk when dealing with Internet exposed systems. Exposing systems to the Internet allows for the generation of significant value, but does introduce new and not insignificant risks. A large risk in exposing systems is identity theft and this is drastically reduced with strong authentication. Traditionally strong authentication is expensive to implement and maintain, putting it out of reach of smaller organisations, leaving their users exposed to an increased risk of identity theft.

Nedu provides innovative strong authentication without the risks and costs of implementing and maintaining it, so that strong authentication can be safely adopted by smaller organisations.

We aim to repeat this methodology in the future with new and exciting technology which is able to generate significant value for small to medium businesses. We look forward to having you as a customer or partner in the future!
